Sarah is a fourth-year print journalism student from Clemmons, N.C., who’s covered everything from homelessness in Columbia to the Outback Bowl for her pride and joy, The Daily Gamecock.
She’s worked as a weekly columnist for The Clemmons Courier. Most recently, she was a Scripps Howard Foundation intern for The Charlotte Observer metro desk. She didn't want to leave, but alas, that college degree won't finish itself.
Sarah can't wait to start a job reporting local news for a newspaper in the Southeast. She especially loves telling stories about interesting people.
She owns every season of “Friends” on DVD and watches them regularly (don’t judge her for it). And don't cross her path during a good hockey or football game (things get intense).
